When you are traveling faster than the speed of light with the headlights on, or when you drown in the fountain of eternal life, are examples of paradoxes. Yet, paradoxes do exist. When you have to be cruel to be kind, is an example of two paradoxical states (i.e. mutually negating), that exists cojointly.
