Like last year, I came home for CNY armed with my DSLR hoping to indulge in some photography which I find little time for otherwise, what with the sheer enormity of workload I have been putting up with these days (boo hoo i miss dota).

Today, I took a walk in the evening, after the rain, a setting very similar to last CNY, only to find that I've lost my 'eye' for shots considerably.

Compared to before, I am more prone to dismiss shots even before putting them on frame. Perhaps its self-imposed censorship due to the familiarity of owning the same DSLR for over a year without any upgrades (hence less adventurous in experimenting a.k.a. jaded-ness), or perhaps I've lost some of it, or maybe it's just no mood?

Anyway, I took a really really big walk this evening and all I took were mostly plant close-ups bordering on abstracts.
