Selamat sejahtera semua. First, let me start off by informing that Malaysia lost to China in the WCG 2007 Dota Final, and as a result I got 125 unread emails with the title "[dota]Hohoho.....Merry Xmas". In that thread, I was reading about betapa owning-nya the Cina bristleback is, when suddenly ter-selitnya satu emel with a picture of neket minibeh (hia hia hia). The point is, if I had came to work on Monday, I wouldn't have been busy to my eyeballs today and justeru 125++ emails would not be clogging up my inbox :p.

Yea, I did not come to work on Monday because I spent Christmas (+ Eve) at home (in Penang la) just chilaxing 'yo (trying to sound cool like crom). Here's a photo of the Christmas tree. This tree my mother bought at chee cheong kai more than 15 years ago and I brought it all the way from Subang to Penang last month :p.

"The bling is back."

The presents underneath the tree belong to yp and myself. The one with the simple wrapping (the fugly red one) is mine (mine meaning mine to give away), and the others are hers. She even made a card for me (hung on the tree, see below) while the only card with my present is probably the price tag which I forgot to remove :p.

"I see dead leaves..."

T'was Christmas eve morning. We woke up early(er than usual) to make pancakes. I did the pancakes, she did the apple compote (apple + honey + raisins).

"Krakatoa!!"

Then we watched our first movie which was Full Monty on SMV (Ch 413). It is basically about a bunch of banglas who form a male striptease act for money. The film also touches on serious subjects such as unemployment, fathers' rights, depression and attempted suicide - but you know I did not write that serious subjects shit (it was from wikipedia).

For lunch, yp cooked a most delicious pasta (comprised of honey sesame chicken, steamed asparagus and farfalle in pesto/garlic/onion/mushroom/cherry-tomato sauce). Food presentation below courtesy of yp, of course.

"Nyam Nyam"

It was my turn to cook for dinner. I made some chicken stew, steamed tou miao and brocolli but food presentation was totally neglected so it looked like something out of the CSI autopsy table. While waiting for dinner, she (for the one millionth time - as usual), did yoga.

After dinner we had some cake which we bought the night before at EQ for half price (after 9 pm cakes go for half price... did you know?).

"Orange something"

And then we watched sickening Lucy Pevensie in Chronicles of Narnia on SMV (Ch 413) before retiring on Christmas Eve.

zzz...

Ding ding ding! It's Christmas morn! The first thing we did was unwrap our presents!

"Help! I've fallen into a sock!" (lame)

"My card..."

"You better be what I want you to be or else..."

Then, again, we had pancakes for breakfast. This time, we tried our hand to modify the genetic properties of the pancake by infusing butter, raisins, honey bla bla into the batter. The result is some roti canai looking thing which we wolfed down with fresh apple cubes.

"Kurang minyak satu..."

For lunch she cooked pasta again, this time purely vegetarian for I had used up all the meat in my chicken stew the night before (yes, stewpit man am I... stewpit man).

"I ate TOFU with my pasta man... how much more organic can I be?"

While waiting for lunch, I caught a Shrek x'mas special on TV.

"..."

And finally, on lazy Christmas afternoon, we watched our third movie - Secret (that Jay Chou wan la). I missed the first half because I was cleaning the kitchen.

"I wish my ogre claus yang kacak will finish cleaning soon and join me..."

Hahaha ok ok rilek about the Ogre claus thing. I was just trying to talk like popo (congrats btw!). In the evening, we went to Gurney. I bought a cake for my team mates, we had dinner in sushi king, we did some light shopping, and Christmas my friends, was over!

Ogre voice: Work work.
