The Hari Raya weekend was a good and much deserved holiday after a hectic few months of work for all of us. KluangStation whiled (is still whiling) his time away in Kluang, Lionel and Dan tried making penkeks, MyCookingDiary is amok with recipes, TheFanatic went through a gila-babi-owning facelift, and myself? Me and my gf babysitted a dog!

Yea, the owners left for Ipoh and left this 20 kg whitecut bekside of a dog with us! It is a basset hound (which is just slightly different from a beagle - the Hush Puppy mascot). My gf's sister rattled a hush puppy shoebox in front of the dog hoping perhaps to elicit some sort of elated reaction from him upon finding out how famous he is.

When we brought Lucas (the dog) for walks, aunties stare at him and whispers to their children/other auntie friends "Hash Papi Hash Papi". Lucas is an incredibly stiupet but comel dog. When he comes into contact with other dogs, despite their aggresive barks and dangerously menacing stance, Lucas would still go on and try to smell their ... poopoo? And he only has one expression on his face - comel-blur.

He is also super manja. He doesn't eat dog food but prefers human food (potato bread, pizza crusts, apples, bananas). He won't eat it if you threw it in front of him, instead, he wants to chew it off your hand (he bit me by the way). His favourite toy, incredibly, is also a type of food - which is pork feet. He had one which he put in his mouth like a tennis ball and walked around with that whole disgusting thing in his mouth. My gf threw it away because it was covered with ants. Lucas was so sad, and my gf still feels guilty for it.
