As such, I'm glad we managed to find time to plan for and celebrate our 2nd anniversary over the weekend. Last year, we celebrated our anniversary with a Japanese Buffet in Kampachi. Keeping in line with tradition, we went to another hotel buffet this year - The Spice Market in Rasa Sayang Ferringhi (i don't care next year we're going to McDonalds). Firstly, because they don't deliver flowers on Sunday, I got her a bouquet of mushroom. (serious wan ... -_-, see below) "With Mavis the Poisonus Mushroom" (curled lips imitated on purpose) The beach in Shangri-la Rasa Sayang is not so owning like Golden Sands (the latter is whiter and cleaner - perhaps it has staff employed to comb and aerate the sand from time to time). But the poolside garden of the former is definitely more relaxing and offers more privacy. "Fallen flower buds on rattan recliner, hotel poolside garden". As we reached early... we had some time to kill before dinner. Apa lagi? Jalan jalan tepi pantai lo... "Mother hen" "Our footprints, mine on the right" The Spice Market boasts a reasonable selection of food - ranging from Indian, Chinese, Japanese, Western and Lain Lain (lain-lain is a convenient way for me to classify food I know not of). Not really the widest selection ever, yet whatever served was prepared well. For me, it gets extra points for the ambience. I noticed that the average dress code for (Mal)Asians were polo tees and long pants, while the foreigners (whites in particular) saunters in with t-shirts and slippers bought off the Ferringhi pasar malam. One day I must go back dressed like that and talk loud loud... "Ha? Hami Seefood Thermopol? Limpek Ang Moh Bo Ho!" (smacks chest protudes lower lip) Anyway, we ate until master exploder. "Custom made crepe with berries-apples-raisins" We proceeded to the lobby to buka hadiah. While waiting for her to master exploder in the toilet (no la just joking), I took pictures of the sunflowers they put on the coffee tables. The way it catches the light made it a perfect photo subject - I took so many shots of it from so many angles people might be wondering if this was a crime scene. "Tepi" "Atas" And this is what err I mean who I bought for her. "Vernon the Bear" - The End - *burp* leave me a message
